Old Church Street Llanrhystud photo description

Church Street

Church street is one of the oldest streets in Llanrhystud with a number of small terrace cottages including a number of larger houses lining the street to the church. The black and white photo shows the view from the A487 along with the now demolished barn which over looked the River Wyre, with steps to side, which once had a notice boards to the side elevation. To the left a small section of the parapet wall for the original old bridge can been seen in the foreground. Also the front elevation of the Black Lion Hotel to the right, which remains the village pub. Finally today’s view is very similar with the addition of road side kerbing and a number of modern houses built in recent times along the street.
