Gilfachafael, Llanrhystud
The Golden Grove Manuscripts state that the house was owned by Jenkin David who married Anne Lloyd of Cilfache, Llanddeiniol. Anne was the daughter of Thomas Lloyd by Mary, daughter of David Lloyd of Crynfryn. Jenkin and Anne had a son who married Gaenor Pugh, widowed daughter of Jenkin Jones of Coedmor, Pencarreg. George Parry, of Gilfachafael, was a JP in 1772.
