Corris Craft Centre
At Corris there are six craft workshops set in the spectacular gardens of Corris Craft Centre, with restaurant, picnic areas and children's adventure playground. Extensive free parking. Tourist Information Centre and the starting point for King Arthur's Labyrinth.

that tell the tale of King Arthur as well as other stories. Suitable for all of the family.
Narrow guage steam railways
These reduced size full working steam locomotives are a great way to explore and see the countryside of the many different parts of Wales and one that can be enjoyed no matter the weather. This is very suitable for children and adults alike.
Each of the railway lines in times gone by has served a different function and allows one to relive the experience again whilst also allowing one to get up close to these nostalgic and historic work horses of the past.
Tal-y-llyn Railway

This is the first Railway Preservation Society in the World and has set an example for other declining railways to follow. On the site is a museum that follows the history of the railway line from its conception to the present day as well as a café.
The line is 7 ¼ miles long and a return journey takes 2 ½ hours with stops along the route that offer pleasant walks. There is also a caféé at Abergynolwyn station. Runs daily through out high season.

Located in Aberystwyth, this line takes you into the hills inland from Aberystwyth, rising up over 600 ft. ending at The Devil's Bridge and Mynach Falls. Well worth a visit.
Welshpool and Llanfair Railway

Running daily through out the high season, this line follows the road and has views of the rolling hills.
Fairbourne and Barmouth Railway

This little railway follows the sea wall and ends at a little café at the end of the spit with views of the Mawddach Estuary and north of the mountains of Snowdonia.
Bala Lake Railway

This little railway runs along the side of Wales' largest lake. The return journey takes 1 hour.
Ffestiniog Railway

Located at Porthmadog, this line offers some of the best mountain views as it takes you deep into Snowdonia climbing over 700 ft. passing through pasture and forest along the way.
Llanberis Lake Railway

This railway journey is only 40 minutes long but you travel at the base of Snowdon Mountain and along the side of Llanberis lake. The scenery here is spectacular and there is also the Welsh Slate museum here to enjoy.
